These materials will make a big difference in class. They will provide access to apps for various subjects. It will be used in whole and small group when teaching concepts. Areas such as fine motor will also be addressed with the IPad. Students will be active and engaged in class. My class has social objectives in class and this technology would help students with such things as following routines, staying on task, and following multi-step directions. My class requires visual cues when teaching concepts the IPad provide that immediate attention. Active learning can be increased with the technology. My pre-k students who have had difficulty with the desktop computer will find the IPad easier to manage.
