Thanks for visiting my teacher page. My name is Dayna-Marie Zisa and I have been an educator for 16 years. As budgets are shrinking but children's needs are increasing I am so thankful for the generosity of Donor's Chose! I currently am a reading specialist working with at risk students. My students are at risk for many reasons: socio-economic status, parental involvement, school district cuts, but most importantly they are at risk of reading below their grade level. My job as a reading specialist for Paterson Public Schools is to increase these children's motivation, imagination, creativity and most importantly their reading levels. They can not have the bright futures that they deserve without the proper necessities to assist them in learning to read. Please help me give my students a fighting chance to have a promising future!!
