Students are interested in learning, when they can relate to it. These books provide that additional support and real world connection. Imagine students completing an assignment on measurement and when finished, encouraged to read a book and the student picking up a book about measurement. Using these materials will build confidence in their learning. With these books, students have another resource to pull, to help them better understand concepts and strategies. This project will provide up to date, more engaging books than the older books in our current library. These books will encourage students to be more invested in their learning.
