As a Special Education teacher, I have some special students with sensory needs. This space helps these students the most. My students use this space for sensory breaks, to calm down when life is too much for them, as well as occupational therapy. We also use flexible seating as a reward system, and our students love the extra options for seating in this space. Earning the opportunity to be in the space, or use seats from it is a great motivator for my students. These supplies will give my students more options when they visit the sensory space, and keep them happy for years to come!
