I try to engage my students with the use of technology as much as possible. This is a challenge daily because I must pack my personal home devices along with what is provided in our classroom, and I continue to fall short by having to create larger teams due to the lack of efficient technology. When my students work on projects requiring them to research and create models, I have to use many days to complete activities due to the lack of technology. Therefore, I am asking for Chromebooks to engage students with the use of technology by creating smaller teams and adequate time for assignments and activities. Engaging students and building teamwork involve important social life-long skills. Many students at our school are not developed in learning how to engage and build relationships to accomplish goals. With the use of technology, I will build their sense of community by engaging and building skills to promote achievement. Your help is needed to provide adequate resources for student engagement and team building activities. Your help will further develop students’ social skills while engaging students in activities through the use of technology.
