These clipboards will support our classroom's move towards flexible seating. As previously mentioned, our kindergarten team attended the Elevate conference, presented by Kindergarten Smorgasboard, in our area this past school year and we were presented research on the importance of flexible seating and offering our students a choice in their own learning. Choice is the key in optimizing student learning in the classroom. These clipboards will facilitate completing class work, center work, etc during flexible seating choice in our classroom. Additionally, the storage carts will further assist with "choice" during centers and with classroom organization. Organization plays a key role in the success of flexible seating.
