I teach Reading Intervention in a Title One school. I need supplies such as a rug, indoor teepee tent, and storage crates to create a comfortable classroom that has flexible seating and various reading areas. The Reading Classroom will be used by two Reading Interventionists who share 60 students throughout the day. The classroom will also be used as an incentive for our campus AR Readers to have some quiet reading time on their own. Our classroom serves the bottom percentage of students on our campus, and our goal is to create an inviting space where students want to be in order to learn. We want to foster their love of reading and growth. We are currently in a large room with a tile floor. To work as a group during a shared story time, we need a large floor rug, so we can sit comfortably on the floor. We also need the storage bins to divide the books by grade level.
