Ms. Sivret's Successful Student Resources will be used to help my Special Education students reach a leveled playing field with their peers. The materials and resources I have chosen will bring meaningful skills to my students through the power of play. Teaching is not giving out information to be ingested, digested, and regurgitated. These materials will help my students take basic skills they need to be successful in their academic career, and make learning them fun. Jean Piaget's research indicates that all children learn best when playing. I believe that wholeheartedly. My students are not your average student. They are already at a disadvantage through delays or conditions that make learning a little more challenging then most of their peers. These materials and games will allow my student to learn in a fun way in areas they already struggle with, provide them with a fun way to learn new skill, and most importantly...WANT TO LEARN and FEEL SUCCESSFUL!! Please help me help my students to be successful, life-long learners by donating to my project. Thank you, Pam Sivret
