Our school is a small, urban public school in New York. Our mission is to provide an elite, international education to students of diverse socio-economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds as well as--and perhaps most importantly--a diverse range of abilities. While most of our students go through a screening process (tests and group interviews), we by no means take the cream of the crop. We have no tracking. This means that despite the intense academic rigor of the curriculum, each classroom must provide differentiated instruction so that all can succeed.
