My students read a wide variety of text types in reading and social studies class. They also complete many different types of writing tasks from short responses to full essays. With a document camera it will be much easier for students to see what we are discussing and also see how to make revisions in their own work. A document camera will also help us to look at maps, photographs, and other images in greater detail. A document camera and digital projector will help all of my students no matter their English proficiency to better understand the work we are doing. This will allow students to express themselves, share their work with their classmates, and also see how to more clearly develop their arguments and ideas.
