Most of our students do not live at home and they do not have full access to wifi or even a computer. They are bright young students who just need a little extra push to put them selves in the right direction. we as teachers believe this iPad will open up their minds to techonlogy and art. Most people refer to our student population as "At risk youth." We want to show them and the community that they are "Youth at Hope". For most of our students being in Juvenile Detention is the only education they receive which means they haven't touched a computer/tablet/iPad for academic purpose, ever. It is our job to give them the tools they need to be successful in life as well as give them the opportunity to show their creative side by creating short videos and songs with an iPad. Please help us with giving these kids a chance to be the best them they can be!
