The use of calculators is a vital part of math understanding. From solving complex formula based problems to converting percentages and fractions, I show students how to use calculators a growth tool. The calculators allow students how to quickly check formulas and calculate intense long double and triple digit number problems that may involve multiplication or division. By having classroom calculators, I can help students navigate through problems that may take lots of time to work. This will save time for simple calculations and provide more time to discuss math concepts. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. This will also create high student engagement and better focus in class. Ultimately, this will lead to a growth in student math goals.
