I am hoping to receive flexible seating stools for my classroom to create choice, increase focus, and provide additional incentives. As many of you may recall from being in school, students are often looking for ways to move their feet or rock in their chairs. This movement helps to keep kids focused while working at a desk. With traditional chairs, rocking and swinging can be unsafe or really just doesn't work. The stools I am looking to purchase are designed to safely engage students and help keep them focused while learning. The students in my class have a lot going on in their lives outside of school, so if I can provide something as simple as a better seat for them, I want to find the means to fulfill that. Unfortunately, seating options aren't cheap, so I need help to make this project a reality. These seats can help change my students' lives and offer the resource they need to increase focus at school.
