Part of growing up is learning how to be responsible and take ownership for your actions and decisions. On the pathway to gaining and maintaining responsible habits, students must first learn how to be organized. It is my goal as an educator to not only model organization, but also to provide my students with the tools necessary to be successful in the classroom. The shelves I have requested will be to store the class library and workbooks and to keep a tidy classroom. Each student will have subject specific notebooks that will help keep track of notes. Each student will also have a mailbox to keep work and memos organized. A neat and organized classroom promotes neat and organized habits in students. Being organized will help students be stress free and more successful.
