Many times students bring projects from other classes that require they access the Internet, type, or look on Google classroom for their assignments and notes. They come to the resource room and have to use outdated laptops that do not always work. This is a frustration to my students who are already struggling with classroom content. These 5 new Chromebooks would allow my students to have the same type of technology in the resource room that they have in their content area classrooms. This would take away the added stress of having to transition to a different type of technology input/output. My students, who thrive on consistency, will be more able to transition with ease. It would also allow me to have more time actually working with students rather than trying to make the old laptops work.
