Today's children live in the digital age. As a result, my students' math and reading skills are tested online by our local county and the state of Maryland. It is the expectation that students will learn keyboarding skills to type an essay and manipulate text and math equations online in order to meet mandated levels of proficiency. However, they aren't given the technology to routinely practice. Adding two iPads to our classroom will greatly increase my students learning opportunities and educational success. They will develop keyboarding skills, research beyond the walls of the classroom, and create presentations that are more inline with today's digital expectations, write essays, type speeches, and create PowerPoint presentations. With your donation, together we can make this happen!
