My students will be able to participate in Literature Circles and book discussions in small groups, and will hopefully encourage active participation in Reading from all students. They will read and discuss their chosen book with the rest of the group and when they are done, they will present to the rest of the class in hopes of encouraging them to read the book or another book by the same author. We will be able to have several book clubs working at the same time and not have to wait until our day to go to the library where we may or may not get the titles that we need. I am very excited about the possibility of my students reading all of these books and more this year.
