Having iPads and a LCD projector in the Media Center will be an opportunity for my PreK students to learn through digital media. Since our young students were born into a world of technology, I must provide them with a range of opportunities to learn in our digital world. Using the Apple iPads in the Media Center will give students the opportunity to use various learning apps to develop fine motor skills, create artistically and learn to read and write. Students can also work in cooperative groups to work together with the iPad. This is an opportunity for building friendships and teamwork. I will use the LCD projector I expose students to digital media to enhance their learning. I will introduce students to inspiring artists, writers, poets, musicians etc. The sky is the limit! These tools will be an asset to our future.
