My students, like so many others, constantly struggle with being able to sit still during instruction. I have several that cannot control their movement and are constantly up and down in their seats becoming a distraction to others. I want to ease the challenge of having to sit still for a small amount of time in a desk and chair, and help alleviate the stress it is causing my students. When a classroom has flexible seating, the students burn more calories, use their excess energy, improve metabolism, increase motivation and engagement, that creates a better oxygen flow to the brain, and improves core strength and overall posture (Edutopia).

About my class
