I strive to empower my students in various areas of their lives. Although my students are just 5 and 6 years old, I try to instill the importance of making "good" decisions for themselves. By having flexible seating options in the classroom like a sectional sofa and a portable lap desk my students will have the opportunity to make "good" seating decisions on a daily basis. The items I am requesting will allow me to offer my students a variety of flexible seating options. Each student has their own uniqueness and flexible seating is one very simple way students can be empowered to take charge of their learning. The items will transform my classroom from a traditional setting to a setting that will allow students to choose what's best for them.
