This project will allow students current global information and a subscription to New York Times Upfront Magazine includes a digital subscription that will allow articles to be printed for students to interact with the text via annotations and "talking to the text". It will help make my students globally aware. Additionally the information will be coming from a reputable source in this modern age of "fake news". This project will also provide my students access to professionally written works to use as models for their own writing improvement as well as being able to analyze how various graphics and design choices are used to convey meaning in modern publications.
