My students are 9-12th graders. These art classes are unique environments because students are able to learn alongside peers that they might not have any other classes with or interact with outside of this class. Students learn to collaborate and build confidence by hands on problem solving. They are inquisitive, energetic, active learners. They love art even if they had not received very much of it in their education. Art class is a chance for them to make their own choices and develop art around their own interests.
