Through this project, students will learn how to develop their ideas into writing. My students will be working on several units of study, including personal narratives, information, opinion pieces, as well as science laboratory reports. Students in my classroom need these materials in order to develop their thoughts, sketch their ideas, record their feelings and opinions, and perfect their writing! My students will use writing utensils, folders, post-its, notepads in order to develop as writers. My students will also refer to anchor charts, developed and created by our class, in order to review what they have learned in our program.
