My students thrive in a learning environment that is engaging. Hands-on inquiry with projects that spark students questioning and reasoning skills are what I strive for and what my students seek. Almost every day my students come in hoping that it is a lab day. Most people look back on their science days in school, and remember lab activities the most. This year, we will learn how to make and study a slide. We will study weather, so barometers will be essential. We will also be learning about forces and energy, so bouncy balls and small cars are essential. We are in a school district that has a budget shortfall. With your help my students will have the lab activities they need and the budget will not affect them at all. They are ready to make a difference in the science community.
