My students are always excited to move to the reading circle, but their excitement leads to a loss in order. Even though I call on them one by one, they still all try to move their chairs to the front of the reading circle at the same time. Having these stools in place allows me to have better control over the class, and allows the students to remain focused as we move to the most productive lesson of the day. Spending less time moving to and from the reading circle permits my class and I to read more. These stools are a necessity for my students intellectual and physical growth. The stools allow my students to move freely, which helps them stay alert throughout the reading circle. In these stools they can engage muscles in their core and back, leading to better posture. This stool provides many benefits to the students and the classroom environment.
