My students need FitPro balls. Since my classroom is composed of so many special need students, I feel that offering them a flexible seating arrangement will alleviate some of their struggle and behavior issues that result from sitting in a chair all day. The kids will be able to move and the fit pro ball will help them release some of their nervous energy and focus on the lesson being taught. For example, I have one student, in particular, who is unable to sit in his chair, during a lesson. He fidgets, falls out of his chair, or distracts others who are trying to learn. From my research into flexible seating, I have found that flexible seating is beneficial for these type of students. He is not my only student with this issue, therefore; I feel that flexible seating will greatly improve and positively impact my classroom environment.
