My students will benefit greatly from direct instruction using magnetic letters and boards. Many Kindergarten students need the visual aids plus the hands on experience to further their comprehension of letters and sounds. Having individual centers with fun activities help promote a love of learning and reading. These activities will target students at their individual levels. Many of my students are at different levels and having these different manipulatives will benefit all of my students. Some of my students can write a few sentences while others are still struggling with CVC words. The materials that I am requesting for my classroom will benefit all of my students regardless of the level they are currently at.
