I teach in a charter school in the North East Los Angeles area. The majority of the students are lower income, Socially Economically Disadvantaged, underrepresented minorities in the sciences, engineering, technology, and mathematics fields. Last year, after noticing that a few students where having trouble keeping up, I provided them with materials in order for them to be able to participate in class. It is my goal this year to make sure that no child will have to fall behind or stress about the materials that they need to participate as a student in science.

About my class
