Our daily routine consists of sitting on the floor in front the Smart Board for the first quarter of every class. During this time I model to the students the steps for their art projects. Unfortunately, space is a constant struggle with the classroom set up limiting our flexibility. My goal is to remove my large clunky desk with the all of the clunky technology. It would be replaced with a simple moveable desk, having the iPad on the holder as the new projector. Wireless and moveable! With a mirroring program on the iPad, I would now be able to move around the classroom, sharing and modeling on areas where students need help or direction! This would then free up the front of my room for the carpet area where students can sit comfortably during instruction or when they'd like to create on the floor! These new materials would free up classroom space and allow the entire room to be a flexible area to create!
