In my classroom, I have a variety of ages (3, 4, and 5 years old) and a variety of needs. There are many students with autism, a student with down syndrome, and a student with a traumatic brain injury. It is important to support their learning in every area of the classroom. Carpet time can be difficult for some of our students. Having the flexible seating during carpet time, will help increase focus of all the students and increase their learning. I have seen this happen in many other rooms and want to give my students the same opportunities. With this donation, my students will be able to maximize their full potential.
