Therefore, we strive to not only challenge our students by exposing them to college-level material, but we also show our students that they can be academically successful if they are willing to put in the work. Our students definitely have a lot on their plates, so the structure we create at KIPP is especially important for them. Students are held to high academic expectations and strict discipline standards. In turn, students know that it is time to focus and learn whenever they enter a classroom.
