Small groups of students meet at our round table for 25 minutes of reading intervention. Students are full of energy and these chairs allow students to move around while they are focused on reading instruction. I share my reading space with other teachers in the building that also provide small group interventions, so these chairs will be used by 40 or more students a day. I have seen children use these chairs in other classrooms and the children love to sit in them. Students can stay engaged without having to sit still.The wobble chair also eliminates distracting behavior which can affect nearby students. Any consideration toward funding this project is appreciated.
