Our students come from a diverse background, all shapes and sizes. They are highly motivated, and love performing. At the middle school age, they are craving acceptance from their peers, and the Theatre Arts Club gives them the confidence they need to succeed in all situations. The students in our program love performing, but are limited based on the resources we have access to. In California, the education budget in our district alone was slashed 11 million dollars, cutting student days, and teacher stipends. The Theatre Arts Club is one of the few clubs that kids can turn to in the face of our budget crisis. Despite all that, the kids shine in every performance.

About my class
