Students can watch instructional videos, play learning games, take assessments, and other activities without bothering their neighbors. Every student can work at their own pace. Many students can not afford to bring a pair from home. This shouldn’t keep them from participating. I make many instructional videos to target students who need remediation or help with their homework. However, not all students need the same videos. We can not all watch different videos at the same time and focus without wearing headphones. With 100 students moving through my classroom we go through a lot of headphones no matter how hard we try to take care of them.
