The students in my classroom love to read! During their free time, they are constantly sharing books. This is my first year teaching, unfortunately our classroom library consists of single digit numbers of books. I do what I can and buy books as we need them for lessons, but my students need access to more books. An expanded class library would help them diversify their reading and would help me meet the needs of all my students. I have included a variety of reading levels and genres in my wish list. My hope is that the diversity in the books will be able to service the diversity of my classroom as it changes in the following months and weeks to come.
