Being a teacher librarian, I see all the students at my K-5 elementary school. My goal is for the library to be a positive, welcoming space that invites all students to be curious explorers of the world around them. My students are diverse in their interests, abilities, and backgrounds, but they all love to learn! My students want read books about their favorite interests, new topics that spark their curiosity, or stories with characters they relate to. I hope to connect all my students with a book that in turn creates a lifelong reader.
