Our school is working on creating personalized learning environments that provide students with choice in how and where they work within the classroom and around campus. When students have choice they are more comfortable and engaged in their learning. I have already purchased exercise balls for chairs and made some creative seating areas. The student reaction has been so positive that I'd like to do more to allow more students to have choice about their work space. The clipboards are essential for students to write when working away from their desk. The dry erase pops will be placed around the room so students can collaborate and brainstorm ideas wherever they are. With wobble chairs and peanut chairs, students will have more options about where to work.
