During our ELAR block, my class uses Daily 5 rotations. My class has effectively learned all 5 rotations and I would like to use the Fire HD 8 tablets during the “Listen to Reading” rotation. During the “Listen to Reading” rotation, my students will be able to build fluency as books are being read to them. This can be beneficial to my students as some of my students cannot read. Allowing my students the opportunity to listen to reading during their Daily 5 rotation will expose them to many different types of literature and become fluent in reading. This allows my students to open the doors to many different books not accessible in our classroom library.
