These simple materials will go a long way in the success of each and every one of my students. Simply having a space to keep track of all of their materials will not only allow students to learn valuable organizational skills, but it will teach them valuable knowledge they will take with them beyond the classroom. Students will learn to be accountable for their own learning, taking pride in the way their binder is put together and is presented. Students will keep track of things such as their syllabus, bell ringers and exit tickets, classwork, homework, and data tracking sheets to track their progress throughout the school year. Oftentimes, my students feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information they are tasked to learn in 90 days. Your donation will enable them to take charge of their learning, simplify their thinking space, and ultimately improve their success in the classroom. Further, the small chart paper will be instrumental during small group instruction. With limited access to technology, I try to present material in a fun, engaging way by creating a student-centered learning environment. Students often create materials based on what they have learned that are then displayed throughout the classroom.
