Greetings from the Mitten State! Thank you so much for checking out my DonorsChoose page. I work hard to help students discover and/or nurture their love of reading while also teaching the value and importance of thoughtful, supported reasoning skills in both writing and class discussions. To do this, an environment focused on comfort and relaxed alertness is key. In my classroom, students have engaging reading material at their fingertips because of my classroom library. Slowly but surely, they will also find comfortable seating to suit their needs when reading, discussing texts, and working on their writing skills. That seating, which has proven to be quite a bit costly, is why I am here at Donors Choose. To help fund an environment that allows kids to sit, stretch, rock, fidget, or even bounce if necessary, so they feel comfortable and engaged everyday single day.
