My students have had a hard time transitioning to tables rather than desks this year. We enjoy the ease of discussions and working in groups, but staying organized and focused is proving to be a huge challenge. We are currently using table-top bins but they are not ideal for my students. I am excited to see both our transition times and level of focus increase with these new rolling bins! Transitions between content areas is difficult because students have to sort through several notebooks and folders to find what they need. Students also are distracted by so many materials on top of their tables. These rolling bins will tuck under the edge of each table. Students will only take out the items that they need at a particular time. Everything else will stay neatly out-of-sight.
