I teach in a low income district and we don't receive the funding needed to support technology upgrades. The iPads will allow me to immerse my students in literacy and math actiivities that are both educational and stimulating. This project will improve our classroom by building stronger readers and writers. The educational games and activities focus on the alphabet, letter recognition as well as manipulatives to explore with at learning center time. Students will use these materials to explore their abilities through building, drawing, counting, making letters and sounds, and then words. Having fun while learning can enhance a child's success and love of school.
