Think about your work space and chair, do you have a comfortable chair to sit in while you work or do you have a hard chair that is uncomfortable to sit in? We usually perform better work and are more engaged when we are comfortable. So this is why I would love to create flexible seating in my classroom, research has shown that flexible seating burns more calories, using excess energy, improving metabolism, increasing motivation and metabolism, creating a better flow to the brain, improving core strength and overall posture. This will help promote learning and give students a more comfortable, safe and engaging learning environment. Students learn in different ways and by allowing them to choose where they sit to learn will cut back on distractions and distuptions. Please help me create a more engaging and inviting classroom to help my students learn.
