These materials will help students feel at home in their classroom. We spend 8 hours a day at school so feeling welcome and comfortable is paramount for students to reach their learning potential. Students look forward to STEM (for which the majority of the materials on the list are). STEM enriches their learning and promotes creativity. The board games on the list are for students to play to help them with social skills. Kids today play games on their devices and spend less time playing games with people in person. These games will allow them to learn to share how to be a good sport and how to use critical thinking and social skills in general that they may be lacking.
