"It would be awesome to have furniture so that I could have a comfortable place to sit while I work," said one of my students. Students also tell me they love to come to the library to work or read because it gives them a peaceful break from more chaotic common areas. Seating for the library would make it more inviting for the students to have a place to sit and read or do homework. Right now there are not many options for seating in the library. There is a corner of the library just waiting to be transformed into a welcoming niche, and the couches would provide more seating and help make the library more inviting. Your donation will help give students a place to go that is safe and cozy.
