The materials I have asked for will be used across the curriculum content areas. Since covid my classroom supplies have been very limited and I have had to purchase many of them personally. I feel it is very important to make sure students have the necessary materials to engage in many different types of learning. When students are able to use hands on materials to gain understanding of a concept they are able to build on that knowledge. I use interactive notebooks for many subjects and this requires notebooks, crayons, markers, glue and paper. I find that by take the concepts taught and putting them into a notebook students can reference the notebook and this helps solidify the concepts for life long learners.
