Today's students need more flexibility. I look forward to giving students more seating options for their desks. I plan to purchase some exercise balls, and with a few wiggly stools, we should be on our way! These stools will help provide for movement for active students while seated during individual work time. The most productive times in my classroom are when students are able to make their own seating choices around the room. By giving them more seating choices for use at their desks, students will be more engaged and able to focus on my lesson and their learning during work time at their desk.
