Our students are just piloting a new science curriculum that is very technology heavy. Today's learning environments are more technology based and we are doing virtual labs in addition to hands-on activities. These requested six HP Chromebooks will allow so many more students to have the ability to connect with all the material that is now available through technology that they will not be able to without these necessary tools. Students are using QR readers to access videos and readings that help to increase the understanding of different concepts in science. Students will be able to connect with virtual field trips and have abilities to video conference with other groups throughout the world. The science students will be able to expand their learning environment from the classroom to world-wide.
