These Chromebooks will make a difference for our students by allowing them to access work that is both challenging and accessible. Specifically, having Chromebooks will allow them to use programs that we already have access to- reading programs like PowerUp, and math programs like ALEKS- so that they can ensure they are academically ready for high school. The days of one teacher teaching the same lesson to thirty students are over. What we now know is that different students need different learning opportunities. While some of our students can move through their work quickly, others need support on foundational reading, writing, and math skills before accessing the work. Having Chromebooks will allow all of our students to work on exactly what they need to.
