My school has a high-needs, high-poverty, high energy, highly interested population. They particularly enjoy the activity based educational methods. We have been using a Science Kit formula provided by our district. It is not the kind of science in which I would like my students to participate as it spoon feeds the information and does not allow for much scientific inquiry. Science can not fall into the "ask and answer" mode. The books that I ordered will help in thoughtful study into the "how do I seek the answer?" mode.
